How to Become a SuperAger

June 2 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

If you’re aging and trying to figure out how to do it well, you may have heard of SuperAgers….  older adults (age 80+) whose brains are said to work as well as the brains of adults 20-30 years younger. Maybe you don’t believe it. Maybe you’re jealous. Maybe you want to know how they do it.   Join us to learn about these SuperAgers and what we can implement to improve our brains. Interactive program and discussion presented by Chris Damon, Gerontologist and Adult Educator, Lessons In Care.  Program presented through a partnership between the Round Lake Area Library and the Lake County CaregiverNet.  Registration begins on 5/14/22 at 9:00 am.

Space and supplies are limited and drop-ins/additional participants will be turned away if space is not available.  Please check the RLAL website by clicking here to read our current Covid safety guidelines.  Registration required in order to be eligible for supply packs (when applicable) or for reminder emails on login information.

If you have questions, please email Nick at nhyten@rlalibrary.org.

NOTE:  Photo is of John Rogers, 96, a world record holder.  Learn more at https://psutafalumnigolf.blogspot.com/2014/07/.
